League of Legends developer Riot Games opened its annual world championships with a special K-pop augmented reality performance created specifically to promote its new K/DA skins.

Riot introduced four new K/DA skins for League of Legends players recently, and to celebrate the launch, the developer teamed up with popular K-pop group (G)I-DLE, and American artists Madison Beer and Jaira Burns. The song, “Pop/Stars,” is performed by the aforementioned artists in the video above, and they’re accompanied by some of the four K/DA skins onstage via augmented reality.

Not only is the opening ceremonies performance incredible to watch — especially as AR versions of the K/DA skins glide across the stage or emerge from the air — but the song is also a straight up banger.

While the performance is special and provides a glimpse into the scale of the world championships taking place in Incheon, South Korea, this year, the accompanying music video is even more spectacular. It stars all four of League’s new K/DA skins.

This isn’t the first time that Riot Games has incorporated its lineup of League heroes into this artistic marketing style. The team that worked on the animated K/DA “Pop/Stars” video is the same group that worked on the Pentakill music video. Pentakill is made up of various League heroes from another line who were influenced by heavy metal music. It also isn’t the first time the studio utilized AR for live events: last year’s world championships featured a giant AR dragon flying around Beijing’s National Stadium.

Although K/DA’s “Pop/Stars” video is extremely League of Legends, there’s no question that it’s also an absolute jam. Hopefully this song finds an audience beyond League of Legends’ very impressive player base.

Correction: Article updated to clarify that Madison Beer and Jaira Burns are American artists.
