Can we just talk about how cute tutus are for a second? I don’t even know where to start. I wish I could wear one everyday… well I guess technically I could, but isn’t there some fashion girl code against that? I’ll look into it and get back to you.

Tutus are constantly all over my Tumblr dash… I just can’t resist looking at them and figuring out which outfits would look cute with a tutu. I have a tan one that I wear with a tank, a hat, and boots… that’s def my favorite combo right now. I also love when people wear them with bandeaus and crop tops.

Anyways, you’ll probably be seeing me wearing them a lot this summer because my obsession is only getting worse. What’s your favorite tutu combo?

One of my favorite complementary colors for the warm summer months is turquoise. The bluish green hue is funky and fun, adding a pop to any outfit. Weirdly enough, I didn’t realize how much I loved the color until I recently went through my jewelry and noticed that almost everything was either turquoise or blue. I am actually wearing a turquoise watch and 4 bracelets while typing this right now… LOVE! If turquoise were a boy, I’d probably marry it (him?). LOL.

This totally might be in my head, but I just kind of feel happier when I’m wearing anything turquoise. There’s a certain calmness of the color that brightens my day. If you haven’t included this color in your wardrobe yet, give it a try and let me know if you feel as happy as I do.

For many of us, spring has just begun and it’s finally time to break out the warm weather clothing and enjoy some sunshine. Spring is one of my favorite seasons and there are so many different clothing options to show off your unique style choices. With that being said, you don’t want to get caught underdressed and FREEZING when the temperatures drop at night. Not to worry. I have the perfect solution: flannels.

As a bit of a history lesson, flannel shirts were first introduced as cool and ‘non-lumberjacky’ by 90’s grunge bands in Seattle. Rockers like the band Nirvana made it popular. They made it their own and rocked the style with confidence – something that is absolutely key to pulling off any outfit. While we are on the topic of Nirvana, can I just tell you how much I adore them? I have been listening to their music a lot recently and I love their emotional yet aggressive musical style. One of my favorite songs by them right now is “Lithium.”

But back to fashion:)

I like to wear flannel shirts around my waist during the day when the air is warm and sun is bright. There are so many different types of flannel alternative materials that look just as great (and are lighter) than actual flannel. I recently bought one that feels kind of like cashmere and is super soft. You can find pretty affordable flannels at any thrift store, or places like Forever 21. The range of different materials adds to the functionality based on your particular style and taste.

My favorite flannel that I currently own has this cool rhinestone skull pattern on the back. I love to wear it around my waist with leggings and Timberlands. It’s super cute and amazing and I’m 100 percent in love. I have a feeling my collection of flannels is going to grow pretty quickly.

I know this post is a week late, but the first of April is one of my favorite “holidays.”  To celebrate, I prepared to pull an epic prank on my mom.  I don’t want to go into details, but the prank involved nail polish, saran wrap, and my mom’s bed… epic FAIL. But the day wasn’t a complete failure.  While shopping for prank supplies at CVS, I stumbled into (don’t worry, I didn’t fall this time lol) a row of different perfumes.  OF COURSE I NEEDED TO TRY THEM ALL!  After sampling 20-30 scents, I finally found the one. Reb’l Fleur.

It was love at first smell and I immediately bought it. But that is not the best part.  While I was at the counter, I saw that my new perfume was created by none other than the goddess herself – RIHANNA! I immediately freaked out.  The scent is musky but with a fruity twist?  I don’t know, I need to work on my smelling descriptions…  either way, it has quickly become my new favorite perfume and I have been wearing it every day.  If I were you, I would run to the nearest store and try it out for yourself.

Ewwww, I hate bad hair days! They are the worst. Thankfully, there’s an answer to every bad hair day. HATS!!!

I absolutely LOVE wearing hats. Whether it’s winter, spring, summer, or fall, wearing a cool looking hat can compliment any outfit. Sometimes, only sometimes, I’ll wear them to keep me warm… but mostly because they look cute… secute.

Lately, I have been loving beanies. Just the other day, I got a white beanie with BALLIN’ on the front. It’s so soft and looks good with just about anything. It might even take the place of my other beanie that says HOMIES. Sadly, I don’t wear ‘homies’ as much anymore because it ‘s a little too tight – my hair is really big and wavy so it makes my head look a thumb… lol.

Along with beanies, I also really like snapbacks. Almost every one of them look amazing and are fun to wear with a girlie outfit. I am still searching for the perfect ‘go-to’ snapback, so if you guys have any ideas, send them my way.

I could write about my love for hats all day, but then that would just be weird. On that note, thanks for saving me, hats!
